Annette was pampering herself today. Just because.

She had her nails done, her toes done, soaked in a hot tub, had a massage, and was currently resting while her feet were being rubbed with some minty lotion that felt incredible. Yes, she giggled every now and then because her feet were terribly sensitive. But, such was the price for beauty.

The morning was overcast, the ground still wet from the rain, but even as such, Annette had gotten up early and headed to the park for a morning run. It felt wonderful and though she didn't run but a couple miles, she felt rejuvinated and energized for her day.

When Annette finally got to work, she was more or less in a zone. Her head hurt because she had had to work gum out of her hair. Her feet and fingernails had been scrubbed hard with polish remover.
